At the helm of Wiggle Worm Stems Tech Academy childcare center is a passionate and accomplished leader with a deep commitment to education, innovation, and child development. With over 18 years of experience in the field, and 9 years dedicated specifically to early childhood care (ECC), The Director brings a rare and valuable blend of instructional expertise, technical knowledge, and business acumen to the role.
What sets our director apart is a unique professional background in both engineering and business management. This combination fuels a forward-thinking approach to early learning—one that integrates structured, hands-on STEM experiences with the nurturing, child-centered care essential for young learners.
Having started her journey in education nearly two decades ago, the director has worked across a variety of academic settings, gaining deep insight into curriculum development, classroom management, and learner engagement. Her transition into early childhood education was driven by a strong belief in the importance of early intervention and the transformative power of high-quality preschool programs.
Ms. Kourtlyn
In our LARVA Room, where curiosity blooms and first friendships are formed, we’re proud to have a dedicated and compassionate teacher guiding our energetic 3-year-olds through their early learning journey.
Our Beginner 3’s teacher is currently working toward her Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, a nationally recognized certification in early childhood education. She brings a warm, nurturing presence to the classroom and is deeply committed to helping each child grow emotionally, socially, and academically at their own pace.
With a natural gift for connecting with young learners, she creates a classroom environment that is safe, engaging, and full of opportunities for hands-on exploration. Whether it’s helping little ones develop their fine motor skills with art activities, building early literacy through Storytime, or guiding children through their first group routines, she brings patience, joy, and intentional teaching to every part of the day
Ms. Chastadi
In the Astronaut Room, where our Pre-K 4 students prepare for their next big leap into kindergarten, we’re proud to have a dedicated, inspiring educator leading the way.
Our Pre-K 4 teacher brings three years of experience in early childhood education, along with a strong passion for helping young learners develop the confidence, independence, and academic readiness they need for future success. Her classroom is a vibrant space filled with imagination, structure, and a strong foundation in early literacy, numeracy, and STEM exploration.
She is currently pursuing her degree in Education at Wiley University, further deepening her understanding of child development and teaching strategies. As a student and an educator, she brings fresh energy, innovative ideas, and a commitment to staying on the cutting edge of best practices in early learning.
Ms. Tara
At Wiggle Worm Stems Tech Academy Daycare, we’re proud to support future leaders in early childhood education—and our Center Intern is a shining example of experience, dedication, and lifelong learning in action.
Currently studying Child Development at Lee College, she brings a wealth of knowledge to our center, backed by 10 years of hands-on experience in both general education and early childhood care (ECC). Her time in the field has given her deep insight into child behavior, classroom dynamics, and the importance of early learning in shaping a child’s future.
As an intern, she plays a vital role in supporting daily classroom operations, engaging with children across age groups, and collaborating with lead teachers and staff to implement meaningful learning experiences. Whether she’s assisting with small-group activities, helping manage transitions, or comforting a child who needs extra attention, she brings warmth, professionalism, and a genuine love for working with young children.
Ms. Davis
At Stems Tech Daycare, our after-school program is more than just care—it’s an extension of the classroom, where children continue to grow academically, socially, and emotionally. Leading that effort is our talented After School Teacher, who brings a wealth of experience and a passion for helping children succeed.
With Child Development Associates (CDA) credentials from Lee College and over 10years of experience in the field of education, she has served in various roles, including as a long-time substitute teacher and early childhood care (ECC) Provider. This diverse background has equipped her with the flexibility, creativity, and classroom management skills needed to support children of different ages and learning styles.
Her calm demeanor, strong work ethic, and deep understanding of child development make her a trusted and respected figure among students, parents, and staff. Whether she’s organizing a science project, guiding a group discussion, or simply offering a listening ear, she brings heart and professionalism to everything she does.
We are proud to have her on the Wiggle Worm Stems Tech Daycare team, where her dedication and experience continue to make a lasting impact on the lives of the children we serve.
